Coaching Language to Avoid or Rethink

By popular demand, I'm sharing some common coaching phrases and words that we really need to avoid, rethink and reconsider in order to decolonize our practises. If we truly want to foster inclusive environments that are supportive for ALL, we need to recognize the power of language! Here are some popular coaching/law of attraction/personal development phrases that I've now realized caused harm, and uphold white supremacy. If we're not careful, our words can gaslight folks and actually disempower instead of empower... and I know that's not your vibe! What I Look for In A Coach- As An Indigenous Woman
